M.A.R.E.S.

(Mothers Appreciating Recreational Equine Support)

 M.A.R.E.S is a unique support and recreational group that is run by mothers for mothers and exists to support and encourage women who have had children to 'get back in the saddle'.                            

The group meets each fortnight throughout school terms with the aim of offering women a relaxed, safe and encouraging enviroment in which to develop skills and share their knowledge.  The group share experience, listen to guest speakers - experts in the equine field and organise activities and outings to complement the groups agenda.  There is no expectation or requirement to own a horse and if you are a women  just curious about riding and/or horses - this is the place to explore and develop that passion!  Guidance and enthusiasm is provided to all who attend - guaranteed.

The cost is $5.00 per session to cover the cost of room hire and refreshments. Child care may also be available although pre booking is required as limited places are available - call 5342 7050 to discuss and book child care. The cost is $6.00 per hour, and $4.00 per hour for the second child.
